New Courses for Summer 2009
The Summer 2009 course schedule at Northern is one full of exciting and interesting opportunities. It provides students with the opportunity to not only learn but experience ministry in real-time.
Courses include:
Goth, Punk, and Oi - A week-long course that takes places at the Cornerstone Music Festival and focuses on youth sub-culture ministry.
Retreat into His Presence - A retreat that brings focus to the need for those in ministry to take time away and "retreat" into time with God.
3 Funerals and a Wedding - 5 days of practical ministry training provide the backbone of this course which gives valuable experience to ministry leaders.
The City is in the Suburbs - A course centered on time spent visitng ministries in Aurora, IL and learning about how urban ministry tools and settings not only exist in big cities but also in the suburbs.
